Pathfinder Missions Summit and Team Trips

The time for the 2nd Annual Pathfinder Missions Summit is approaching quickly! We will once again enjoy scenic Pigeon Forge, TN, which is near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Some of our activities include visiting the action-packed Dollywood Theme Park and enjoying a bountiful dinner at The Apple Barn, known far and wide for its great food.

We will stay in a beautiful16-bedroom cabin in the hills of Pigeon Forge where we will fellowship with other attendees and hear from missionaries, previous team members, and leaders of Pathfinder Missions. Breakfast and lunch will be provided each morning before and after our informational sessions. Then, everyone is free to explore the area until we meet for dinner. On Thursday, we will be going to Dollywood for the day, followed by dinner and closing remarks. We will all head home Friday morning.

We are asking for a minimum of $3,000.00 per couple (or per room if bunking with a friend) to go towards our upcoming projects and budget. Our goal this year is $300,000.00. I believe we can do it! Last year in our inaugural year, we raised $120,000!

Once again, our Royal Rangers National Director Karl Fleig and his lovely wife, Cindy, will be with us. You’ll also be able to meet other national staff members.

We plan to share many upcoming plans to grow this ministry, including a scholarship fund to help boys go on these trips. Going on a Pathfinder trip is a life-changing experience. I was 39 before going on my first one, but I wish I had been able to go at age 14.

Another goal we have is to build twelve tabernacles (churches) next year. Each church can be built for approximately $12,000–$15,000. We would ask for you to prayerfully consider sponsoring a tabernacle next year. Pledges for this can be paid all at once or over a 12-month period. As a 501(c)(3) charity, we very much appreciate your tax-deductible gift.

Below is a testimony from Paul Galina of Tennessee concerning our mission:

“My life has grown through missions over the last sixteen years because of Pathfinder trips. Through these trips, I have developed relationships with brothers in Christ from the United States and all over the world. I have grown spiritually because of these trips as well, which is the true value for me personally. I also have enjoyed working in construction and learning as I have gone. Today I am able to continue to support missions and missions trips by working a side job remodeling, painting, laying tile, etc. God has given me more than I have invested over this period of time!”
